Hugh Adlam Architects are currently involved in refurbishing and extending this 1960's home in Shepperton, South West London.
The house required an extensive overhaul and there were a series of ad-hoc additions to the front of the property, which made the property look rather ugly.
The ground floor will be seperated into living and servant areas, with a main open-plan space dominating the layout and a series of smaller secondary service spaes being concealed behind a spine wall.
Exposed concrete and raw timber are to be used to maintain the character of the existing house, whilst gtiving a much more contemporary feel.
